Hearing Aids

PMSI’s Hearing Aid program offers all types of audio aids, both conventional and advanced technologies. PMSI uses board-certified providers and reviews each order to ensure cost effectiveness as well as proper fit and functionality for optimum clinical results. PMSI’s goal is to help recover hearing ability and ultimately enhance the injured worker’s quality of life.

PMSI’s Hearing Aid program includes:

• Controlled costs through utilization review and injured worker assessment
• Coordination with the audiologist and the claims professional to review utilization and continued fit and functionality
• Standard three-year warranty on all hearing devices unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer
• Extended three-year repair warranty, three-year loss/damage warranty (single occurrence), 60-day trial period, and fitting and services for one year
• Wide range of supplies to support hearing aid needs
• Education for injured workers on the use of their hearing aid equipment
